Wednesday, March 11th is SMU Giving Day, and Upsilon Mu will with a fundraising goal of $1,500. Every gift made on Wednesday, March 11 goes directly back into our chapter account and helps strengthen the work we do on campus and beyond!

Though this is a 24 hour fundraising event and you can donate at any time. There are several challenge periods throughout the day where your gift can help us compete for bonus dollars and additional prize funds, so timing matters.
Best times to donate:
- 12:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. → Early Bird challenge; the two funds with the most gifts before 9 a.m. each earn an extra $1,000
- 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. → Spirit Groups challenge; the top spirit group in that window earns an extra $1,000
- 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. → Peruna Power Up Challenge; the participating student organization with the most gifts in that window earns an extra $1,000
- 9:00 p.m. – 11:59 p.m. → Final Push; bonus funds are distributed among causes supported during that time
Also, for young alumni of SMU (Classes of 2016–2026), gifts of $25 or more can help unlock an additional $10,000 through the Young Alumni Challenge.
