An evening of scholarship and community as the Sankofa Foundationof Dallas/Ft.Worth and the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. - Xi Tau Lambda Chapter invites you to join us for our 2020 Alpha Legacy Celebration! The event will honor our annual scholarship recipients in the Dallas area. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the Sankofa Foundation Scholarship Program.

This year, we’re excited to present our event at the Embassy Suites Frisco Hotel & Convention Center in Frisco, Texas, on Saturday, June 27, 2020. Tickets include a cocktail reception, dinner, program and entertainment. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in our on-site silent auction! Event attire is semi-formal. Cocktail hour at 6:00 PM followed by the dinner & program at 7:00 PM.

The Sankofa Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, was established in 1997. The Foundation’s mission is to support the under-served youth in the Dallas metroplex by delivering top-quality mentoring programs and youth-outreach initiatives. Our primary program, the Alpha Legacy Group, encourages education, builds self-esteem and promotes good citizenship to it’s participants. In addition, scholarships are awards to students in the Dallas metroplex pursuing a post-secondary education.
